Marke is STRI’s Director of Operations for the Asia-Pacific region and a leading authority on natural turf, having worked on numerous high-profile projects and delivered technical presentations at conferences around the world. Marke is passionate about providing fit for purpose sports field solutions for end-users and helping clients optimise their decision-making on sports field policies, strategies and design. Marke has helped Local Authorities in Australia and New Zealand to design, procure, maintain and audit natural and synthetic turf fields. Using his expertise he’s helped devise design standards to ensure consistency of approach among contractors, assisted with tender evaluation, completed technical design work and monitored construction works.
STRI is the world’s largest turf consultancy that delivers technical solutions, agronomic services and research capabilities from its main office and research station in Queensland and sister company (SportsTurf Consultants) in Melbourne.
