Everett Darlington

Everett brings his skills and knowledge from 24 years’ experience working within the New Zealand Turfgrass industry, including 7 years consulting and teaching with the New Zealand Sports Turf Institute, to provide practical techniques for the identification of fertilisers and their use on bowling greens.
Everett entered the turf industry in 1992 at the Auckland Golf Club and later joined Akarana Golf Club in 1996 as a qualified assistant superintendent, before being appointed course manager for the Howick Golf Club.
Everett’s role within NZSTI involves sports field development and research into maintenance practices, while maintaining a strong focus on golf through course consultancy and playing quality audits. Everett recently received national certification in adult training and provides training for the NZ National Certificate in Sports Turf Management.
