Blair Christiansen
Blair Christiansen has enjoyed a 25 year career in the Turf Industry. A green-keeping apprenticeship at Mangawhai Golf Club in Northland started the journey that has included valuable time at Cornwall Cricket Club and the NZSTI as a sports turf advisor. The past 10 years have been spent at Eden Park in Auckland. The exposure to cricket at the highest level has helped Blair develop a methodology that sees quality results balancing turf management with the desired pitch performance characteristics.
Blending the art of cricket pitch preparation with the science of cricket pitch performance has allowed Eden Park to develop a great reputation as one of the country’s best cricket surfaces.
